Product Manager

Beijing
Full-time
2–4 years of experience
Bachelor's degree or higher

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of robotic hardware products, including humanoid robot platforms, teleoperation data capture devices, and end effectors, from market research and requirements definition through R&D execution and production ramp-up.
  • Responsible for user needs research in the early stage of product development: deeply engaging with target industries and application scenarios, conducting user interviews, competitive analysis, and market research, identifying real pain points and potential demands, forming clear Product Requirement Documents (PRD) and function priority rankings.
  • Responsible for product definition and planning: Based on market insights and technological feasibility, define product form, core specifications, functional boundaries, and differentiation points, and develop the product roadmap.
  • Responsible for R&D process tracking and project advancement: As the core hub of the R&D team, coordinate teams in mechanics, embedded systems, systems, industrial design, etc., track development progress, manage key milestones (EVT/DVT/PVT), and promptly identify and facilitate the resolution of cross-team blocking issues.
  • Responsible for requirement communication and change management: accurately translate user requirements into engineering language, align technical solutions with the engineering team; manage requirement changes, balancing user value, development cost, and delivery timeline.
  • Responsible for prototype review and product validation: Participate in prototype evaluations and user testing, collect real feedback, promote rapid product iteration, and ensure the final product meets market expectations.
  • Responsible for product launch support and continuous optimization: assist in developing product positioning, refining selling points, and launch strategies, collect user feedback after mass production, and drive continuous product improvement.
  • Track competitors and industry trends: Continuously monitor embodied AI trends, competitor progress, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, with 2–4 years of product management experience in smart hardware, robotics, consumer electronics, or other complex electromechanical products.
  • Possess solid user research skills, familiar with methods such as user interviews, scenario analysis, and competitor research, able to refine vague requirements into clear and actionable product definitions.
  • Possess complete experience in hardware product development processes, understanding the key milestones and collaboration methods at each stage from concept, research and development to mass production (EVT/DVT/PVT).
  • Possesses strong cross-team collaboration and project advancement abilities, capable of coordinating multiple functional teams such as mechanical, hardware, software, and industrial design, and driving projects to be delivered in a closed-loop according to the schedule.
  • Possess good product thinking and logical skills, capable of finding a balance between user value, technical feasibility, cost, and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, able to independently produce high-quality PRDs, product plans, and project documents.
  • Strong interest in robotics, embodied AI, and emerging technology products; quick to learn, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and willing to work closely with frontline teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Product experience in embodied AI, humanoid or quadruped robots, robotic arms, or related robotics fields.
  • Possess complete project experience in taking smart hardware or consumer electronic products from 0 to 1, as well as successfully achieving mass production and implementation.
  • Understand the basic technical principles of robot body structures, sensors, actuators, control systems, etc., and be able to communicate efficiently with engineering teams.
  • Relevant experience with data capture equipment, teleoperation systems, or research platforms.
  • Has certain data analysis abilities and can make product decisions based on data.

Work Style

  • Strong user orientation: Product managers should not write requirements behind closed doors, but rather immerse themselves in real scenarios, truly listen to and understand the users' pain points.
  • Strong closed-loop advancement: Requirements are not finished once submitted; they need to be tracked through implementation in development, through product functioning, and through user satisfaction.
  • Strong cross-team collaboration: You are the key bridge connecting marketing and R&D, needing to engage in high-frequency interactions between engineering teams to drive the product from an idea to a deliverable mature product.
  • We hope you are young, energetic, passionate about the robotics industry, and willing to work with the team to refine cutting-edge technology into products that truly impress users.
