Robot Deployment Engineering Intern

Job Description

  • We are recruiting intern engineers for robot delivery, to participate in the deployment, integration, debugging, and delivery support of robot products in customer projects, and to assist the delivery team in improving project implementation efficiency and customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in completing the deployment, configuration, integration, and functional verification of robot products at the customer's site or in the test environment;
  • Participate in the interface joint debugging between the robot side, platform side, and customer system, including task issuance, status query, log viewing, data synchronization, etc.;
  • Assist delivery engineers in device initialization, network configuration, account permission configuration, platform parameter configuration, and basic environment inspection;
  • Execute delivery test cases according to project requirements, and record test results, abnormal phenomena, reproduction steps, and related logs;
  • Assist in identifying common issues in the delivery process, including network connection, interface calls, device status, task execution, platform display, etc.;
  • Coordinate with R&D, algorithm, testing, and product teams to address on-site issues, organize issue records, and follow up until resolution.
  • Assist in writing and maintaining delivery documents, deployment manuals, operation guides, acceptance materials, FAQs, and problem review reports;
  • Support customer training and on-site demonstrations, helping customers understand basic operational procedures and common problem-handling methods;
  • Participate in the use and optimization feedback of internal delivery tools, debugging tools, and diagnostic tools;
  • Summarize the experiences in the project delivery process and assist in optimizing the delivery process, testing process, and customer integration process.

Basic requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in computer science, software engineering, automation, robotics, electronic information, mechatronics, or other related majors;
  • Familiar with basic Linux operations, able to perform simple command-line operations, view logs, and check the environment;
  • Understand basic knowledge of web interfaces, databases, network configuration, device debugging, etc.;
  • Possess good communication skills, execution ability, and document organization skills;
  • Meticulous and responsible in work, able to accept a certain level of on-site support, testing verification, and project delivery pace;
  • Preference will be given to those who can intern more than 4 days a week and continuously for more than 3 months.

Professional competence

  • Understand one or more communication methods such as REST API, WebSocket, MQTT, gRPC, etc.;
  • Able to read API documentation and assist in completing API calls, joint debugging tests, and issue recording;
  • Able to use tools such as Postman, curl, browser DevTools, and logging systems for basic troubleshooting;
  • Interested in platform capabilities such as robot task execution, status feedback, remote diagnosis, log viewing, OTA, and device management;
  • Able to clearly document the problem phenomena, reproduction steps, log information, and the on-site environment, helping the development team quickly locate the issue.

AI development capability

  • Able to use AI tools to assist in organizing delivery documents, test reports, FAQs, customer operation manuals, and problem reviews;
  • Able to use AI Coding Agent to assist in writing simple scripts, interface test cases, and automation checking tools;
  • Interested in AI Agent-based log analysis, fault diagnosis, automated testing, and improving delivery efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with robots, IoT, smart hardware, automation equipment, developer platforms, or customer integration projects;
  • Familiar with ROS / ROS2, Docker, Python, Shell, databases, or message queues;
  • Has worked on equipment management platforms, remote consoles, log platforms, SDK demos, or interface debugging tools;
  • Has experience with robotics competitions, laboratory projects, open-source projects, or internship projects.
